Adria Carbo, Ph.D. brings more than 12 years of business development and strategy experience across the biotechnology industry, with expertise in cell therapy, immunology, and oncology. As Vice President of Business Development at Artiva, he leads the company’s business development strategy, including corporate partnerships, licensing, search and evaluation, and strategic transactions to support the advancement of Artiva’s allogeneic cell therapy platform. Prior to joining Artiva, he served as Vice President, Head of Business Development at Orca Bio, where he built and led the business development function, advanced strategic conversations, and led licensing initiatives that supported the company through late-stage development and commercial launch. Prior to Orca Bio, he spent six years at Adaptive Biotechnologies, where he led strategic collaborations with leading biopharmaceutical companies and played a key role in advancing a landmark oncology partnership with Genentech. Dr. Carbo received his Ph.D. in Immunology from Virginia Tech and his B.S. in Biotechnology from the Universitat de Vic in Barcelona, Spain.
