Larry Kovalick, PharmD, CMPP

Dr. Kovalick has more than 25 years of medical affairs experience across rheumatology, immunology, cardiovascular, and rare disease. As Vice President, Medical Affairs at Artiva, he is building the company’s Medical Affairs function in allogeneic cell therapy for serious autoimmune diseases, including medical strategy, publications, and field medical. He joined Artiva in March 2026. Prior to Artiva, he was Vice President, Clinical Science and Vice President, Medical Affairs at Allakos, leading medical strategy in immunology. He previously led Medical Affairs at Omeros in stem cell transplant complications and spent over 20 years at Amgen and Bristol-Myers Squibb working across all the Medical Affairs functions in roles of increasing responsibility where he helped launch 6 brands. Dr. Kovalick holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science and is a Certified Medical Publications Professional (CMPP).
